change author for listing

    Hi, I noticed that I cannot change author for a listing from admin other than if you’re a administrator. Users who create listings on frontend have role “subscriber”, is that correct that I can’t change a listing from admin from one author to another if the user has the role subscriber?

    If it is correct, how do I change author for a listing from admin?

    Hi,

    from the back end, you’ll need to change the user role to at least author. Make the change and then you can switch it back to subscriber. Otherwise the claim lsiting add-on automates the process from the front end. The user have to request to own the listing though.
