https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/events-24h-time-format-and-recurring-custom-calendar-format/
and stupid question… where do I find the add/edit event form ? where do I paste this code ? i downloaded the snippet adding plugin…Thank you for your support
Vincent
April 3, 2020 at 12:57 pm #538244You should not need that snippet, just go to
WP Settings > General > Time FormatThe “Add Event” form can be added from
Appearance > Menus > GeoDirectory Endpoints > Add EventThanks
April 3, 2020 at 1:48 pm #538281Helllo Guuust,
Thank you, it makes it clearer and have added the edit form in the menu and also changed the hours format in WP settings but…
Hours didn’t changed, it is still showing AM and PM format… I also noticed that the all page of the add/edit event form is in english… when I have the multilingual option… a chance it is coming from this ?Thank you,

Thanks for your reply. Could you tell us what you’ve done for translation following the instructions provided by Guust above https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/translation/overview/ ?
If you’re new to this, you can also use the “Loco Translate” plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ for translation. You can change the custom fields “Field Descriptions” here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/#fields . As for the “search page is not full length.” issue, could you provide some screenshots and the URL of the page in question?
April 4, 2020 at 8:53 am #538405Hello,
Here is what I did… i took the french .po and .mo files from their : https://wpgeodirectory.com/translate/projects/geodirevents/
I pasted those 2 files in the following through my FTP : wp-content/languages/plugins.I believe it is traduce but some words coming from (I believe) “add listing” sounds not translated…
“add” “Indicates mandatory fields” “Please enter listing Zip/Post Code” “Drop files here” ant the button “submit listing”Concerning the full length… i did an other post :
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/impossible-to-have-full-width-on-the-search-page-results/Thank you,
April 4, 2020 at 9:08 am #538409You need to translate the GD Core plugin for those strings.
April 4, 2020 at 9:27 am #538416well well well… it is getting better and better 🙂
Do you know where I can find those ones ? see attached file.
TY
April 4, 2020 at 9:31 am #538418Those strings should be in GD core.
ThanksApril 4, 2020 at 10:08 am #538426Guust,
If we take this exemple, yes
“Please drag & drop the images to rearrange the order” is well traduced in french in the file geodirectory-fr_FR.po.I pasted the geodirectory-fr_FR.po. and .mo files through my FTP in : wp-content/languages/plugins.
Not working, is it possible that it is the wrong place or not well named ?
TY
April 4, 2020 at 10:28 am #538427I might make something wrong… or ??
here is an other mistake in the auto traduction, see attached file.
It is well traduce in the geodirevents-fr_FR.po and not showing well
.po and .mo are also in : wp-content/languages/plugins. -
