Change Link post type

Hi
I have an issue when I tried to change the “Link” I have a custom post type called gd_course and I linked it to itself once. now I tried to link it to an institution custom post type. But unable to do so because i get only the “Link” to Course itself. How do I overwrite that? so that I can link to Institution not the course?
