    I recently purchased GeoDirectory and have now included a few entries. However, I notice that a black ground appears when I click on my newly placed entries that makes the page unreadable. (1) How can the background color be changed? (2) Is there a way to restyle the page?

    Go to the above site and click on one of the entries to see an example of my problem.

    Thanks?

    Hi Terry,

    I’ve just checked your Website and I can only see the “Black Background” color on the “Navigation Menu”. Not really sure if you’re referring to that. If you are, use this custom CSS to change the color.

     #main-header {
        background-color: #fff;
    }

    Ok, and thanks for your quick response.

    However, exactly WHERE do I place the CSS? There seems to be no area for placement. Must I change the style sheet? I’m currently not using a Child Theme.

    Thanks.

    Hi Terry,

    Sorry about that. You can insert the custom CSS into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS. Check out this screenshot http://prntscr.com/cquxno

    Thanks!

    I tried this code in both CSS style section and then in the Header section. I changed ‘fff;’ to ‘ffffff;’ to ge a white background. It did not work. According to the CSS color code this is the correct symbol. Other suggestions, please?

    Hi Terry,

    Not sure why it is not working. Do you think you can share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

    Thanks!

    I think we have a misunderstanding of what I’m attempting to communicate. If you go to: https://www.prallagon.com/gd-home/
    Look under ‘Popular Places’ and then click on ‘American Humanist Association’. The page will show a ‘black’ background that’s almost unreadable because the font colors are not showing. I WANT TO CHANGE THE PAGE BACKGROUND COLOR TO ‘WHITE’ TO MAKE IT MORE READABLE.

    Hi Terry,

    i see the maps not loading on that page because there are JS errors. I just checked in console and apparently you have GD Booster installed and there is a conflict between a script from your Events plugin and GD Booster.

    I don’t see the black background on all the page, other than on a Google+ widget at the bottom of the page. What browser are you using?

    If you provide admin credentials we will have a look, however you should ask to whoever bought GD Booster to submit support request here, as a free member you shouldn’t even have it installed.

    Let us know,

    Thanks
