    Hi support,

I need to change the permalink structure. Particularly the Listings URL Prefix defined in GeoDirectory >> Permalinks.

I tried simply changing the prefix, but then all my listings ended up with 404. I tried to open and save them again but this didn’t change anything.

Is there any button or so in GeoDirectory which can recreate the permalinks with the new structure or only manual change in the database can make it?

    Thank.

What I’d do is, change the prefix, save and then go to wp Settings > Permalinks and save them again too.

Let us know if that doesn’t help, in that case we would need the URL and admin credentials.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi paolo,

    This is what I did:

    1. Changed the prefix, Saved it.
    2. Went on permalinks. Put the default structure with ? and saved
    3. Then I putt the pretty permalink structure and saved it.

In between always cleaning GD Booster.

Did not do the change. I was getting 404 for the Locations.

So, I went through the process again the result is the following:

    1. The permalink structure is updated – I can see the new permalink in the browser address bar.
    2. The new URL returns 404 page – not found.
If I just exchange in the address bar the prefix with the old one, it also returns 404 (just for testing).

All Listings (places) are available in the back-end and their data appears in the search listings page, just the details pages are returning 404.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

It was some interrelation with the Multilocation Add-on. Suddenly all came properly online.

I cannot replicate the process, but now it works and we can mark this as resolved.

    Cheers.
