    Hi there,
I have just installed the add-on Multiratings to be able to change the stars in the ratings to bones. I have uploaded the new icon with white background through the upload feature in tab Overall rating for Overall rating image.
However nothing happened! In a previous post called Recommended Rating / Review Icons from Jan 2016 the tip is to disable fontawesome? Is this still accurate info despite having the upload feature for a new icon? If that is the case, could you please explain the steps on how to disable fontawesome. I want to keep all other icons as they are and only change the review icons, however from reading up on this, it seems I then have to recreate all icons in css once I disable fontawesome?
Thanks for your help and awesome plugin btw!!

Further to my previous post I did actually manage to add the bones but in the DESIGN –> DETAIL –> ENABLE FONT AWESOME section where I loaded up the bone icon and disabled font awesome.
HOWEVER it looks horrible as it changed the configuration of the review, did not show “empty bones”, the background is ALWAYS white where as with the stars the background is responsive to the colour of the background. Please see attached image of the difference. How can I configure our GD rating so it behaves exactly as with the stars the only difference being instead of a star its a bone??
    Thanks!!

You need to create a transparent image with a white background.
The color does not come from the image, but the color you select in the settings.

    Hi Rafaela,

Thanks for your reply. Just tested it again by creating a review and I’m able to see the issue there. Could you create a “bone image” with only borders like the fontawesome “Star Rating” so that we could try to imitate it?

    Thanks

You need to create a transparent image (it is the bone that needs to be transparent, not the background) with a white background (or any other color to match the color of your page).
The color does not come from the image, but the color you select in the settings.
The star color can only show where your image is transparent, so that is why the bone has to be transparent, not the area around it.
