Change the search system

    Hi there,

    i do have a question about the search system.
    Actually we can search by words we choose and near us to find any company that i have entered in my website.

    But i wanna have a search engine that helps my visitors to search companies by different criteria such as the city, the number of employees, etc.

    How can i can create that?

    You can search by city in the Near search field.
    If you activate the Advanced Search, you can add any custom fields (like number of employees) to the search. See an example at http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/

    Ok thanks so i have chosen the fields that i want to show in this advanced search but the search tool is still the same on my homepage. how can i replace the basic search by this advanced search bar?

    Hi,

    you should have a “customize my search” button next to search if you set up advance search correctly.

    If you don’t, please provide a url and admin credentials and we will have a look at your settings.
