Change title

    Hi. How do I change the title of certain pages? for example how do I change where it says “Archive for: Accommodation” http://cluster10857.extendcp.uk/test-trailscotland.co.uk/accommodation/accommodation-1/

    That would be in GeoDirectory >> Titles and Metas or if SEO Yoast is installed, within it’s settings pages.

    Yes I am trying to remove the archive for text. I would also like the title moved down by about 40px.

    Hi Jonny,

    Like what Paolo has mentioned, there are two ways to achieve this. If you are using Yoast SEO plugin then you can manage it from SEO PostType Archive page titles, otherwise you can manage it from GD -> Titles & Metas -> Post Type Page Meta Settings -> Post type page title. Could you give it a try and let us know if it works?

    Hi, I cant seem to get rid of the Archive For: text. Changing the post type page meta settings doesn’t seem to be doing anything.

    Hi Jonny,

    Looks like you’re using the Kleo theme. Could you try this code given by a developer in this thread https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listing-page-h1/#post-306035 and try customizing the title? Let us know if it works.

    Hi Jonny, use this line in wp-config.php file to get inside the wp admin

    define('CODE_SNIPPETS_SAFE_MODE', true);

    This is the error message I am getting

    Yes that’s exactly what I wanted, thanks. Are you able to tell me how to move the titles down by 40px?
