Changing and/or hiding Post Type names

    Hello,

    On the “Post Type”, we’re planning to roll out the post types by phases. For now, we want to just have “Consultant” as the main post type.

    I have a screen snapshot below and do have two question:
    Can we change the Post Type “gd_place” to “gd_consultant”?
    Can we HIDE the “gd_event” for now and maybe activate it later when we’re ready for the next phase?

    Hi Rico,

    Thanks for your post. You can’t change the default post type but you can always create a new CPT. For the events CPT, it won’t appear on the frontend if you do not have any events. Let me know if this answers your questions.
