2 questions I need help with:
1) How do I change the currency in price manager? I am able to change in invoicing but not in the payment manager, I would like to change it to GBP.2) How do I change the standard wording that displays on screen when a listing is upgraded?
Many thanks
November 12, 2017 at 11:38 pm #405007Hello!
1# Go to GD > Prices and Payments > Prices > Edit > Title to be display while add listing and change the text.
2# The pricing fields included the one mentioned in 1#. Additional text can be changed by editing the language file for your site language, and changing the text to suit your needs. See :
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Each add-on has translation files, too: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/Once you change one ‘string’ and see it working, you will probably want to change many more to make your site stand out and ‘speak’ to your customers.
Let us know how it goes!

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/translation/“””November 13, 2017 at 5:20 am #405021Hi, unfortunately neither of these worked. This is the message that is shown once a listing is submitted and subscribers are invited to review:
“This is a preview of your listing, it has not been published yet.
If there is something wrong then “Go Back and Edit” or if you want to add the listing then click on “Confirm Preview & Go to Checkout”.
You are going to pay $137.00 & alive days are 365 as Standard listing.”This is the text I want to change as it does not make any sense.
Thanks
November 13, 2017 at 6:07 am #405028Hello!
Part of that text is in core ” This is a preview of your listing and its not published yet. <br />If there is something wrong then “Go back and edit” or if you want to add listing then click on “Publish”.<br> You are going to pay <b>%s</b> & alive days are <b>%s</b> as %s listing ”
Part of it is in the Pricing and Payments Manager: geodir_payments-en_US.po
Let us know how that goes
November 13, 2017 at 8:35 am #405046Hello!
By “Core” I meant the main GeoDirectory plugin, where you will find the text I copy/pasted there.
November 16, 2017 at 7:40 pm #405634Hi,
I still have not managed to do this- is Geodirectory just a US plugin? It seems rather extreme to expect changes to the css sheet just to change the currency display when you have set the location to UK- is this a bug in the plugin?
In the price manager there does not appear to be an option to change the price currency https://www.dropbox.com/s/qkkv9tvyko9mu36/Screenshot%202017-11-16%2019.32.25.png?dl=0
November 16, 2017 at 8:33 pm #405636geodirectory_us.po file has been amended but text still remains intelligible! please see attached
Any help greatly appreciated
November 17, 2017 at 8:39 am #405704Hello,
I’m sorry for the confusion, I don’t know what I was thinking.
Currency settings are in the Invoicing plugin.
We can then login and take a look at your settings. We can also use your FTP to check your language settings and get the files you need into the correct place.
You will need a file geodirectory-en_GB.mo to be located in the wp-content/languages/plugins/geodirectory-en_GB.mo
How about you make a private reply with your site URL, and then include your WP and FTP login information so we can take a look?

First I checked the settings at Invoicing > Settings > Currency and confirmed GBP
Then I visited GD > Prices and Payments > Prices > Edit > Title and verified you have added a GBP symbol in the Title field.
If you see any more currency symbols, let us know what page with a link and we can help you to change them.
The FTP information doesn’t work. I think the hostname is incorrect. Let me know if you verify that as working and want us to take a look at the language file setup.
Thanks!

That should be in the Payments addon language file. Refer to this posts https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/texts-remain-unstranslated/#post-342339
The translated file should be located here: /wp-content/languages/plugins/geodir_payments-en_GB.mo

If the file is not there, yet, then you have not yet started the process of translating the AddOn.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/
I have checked over here and we don’t have a GB/UK version for Payment Manager yet, which means you can start with the EN_US version that is included with your plugin.

If you are new to translation, then starting here might help:
