Changing drop down menu text

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hi,

    I’ve spent ages searching the forum, docs and site files but I am still stuck on this problem. Hoping someone can help!

    Does anyone know how to change the text on some of the drop down menus such as:

    “Sort By” on the search results page or “Select Option” on my custom field in the advanced search filers.
