    Hi rajatonnet,

Thanks for your post. You can edit your categories and insert a listing image as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/categories/place-categories-update/#category-location . Could you give it a try?

this is not related to listing image, it is related to category & location header image in which is shown in the background of location/ category name title.

    Thanks!

What Kor linked is exactly what you want.

Edit the Category Top Description for each location and insert rich text and images as you like.

Use the Category Description widget to display the data on the archive page.

Not solving the purpose, let me try explaining again to you,

https://foodonstreets.com/street-food/category/canteens/ – on this page there is default background image is showing on which title is showing, i need to understand how this background image can be changed.

similarly for the location page how to change for all location background image.

    thanks!

That image is the default background image for all pages. That being page generated by GD, it is not possible to set the image for that page only. It is for this reason that we recommend you use the GeoDirectory Archive template for the GD Archive page.

If you want, you can also use the “Featured Area” settings on the GD Archive wp page to adjust how that area works. You can set a featured image there but it will apply to all the archives. I would recommend you hide the features area and use the GD Category Description widget if you want dynamic content.
