So I’ve only been playing around with dummy data, but I noticed that when I change the slug in the Places > Settings > General section that the existing entries are no longer found when I click “View” on the post. I get a 404/ page not found error. If I delete all of the posts then regenerate new dummy data it will work, but only if the “Name” and the “Slug” are the same (It’s not case sensitive). Obviously changing the slug name after the fact or having different slugs and names isn’t best practices, but I wanted to bring it up since it appears it will break someone’s existing entries if they tinker with that setting.

When changinf GD Permalinks, you need to re-save WP Settings Permalinks to make sure all links update.

    Thanks
