Checkbox allowing comments

    Hello GD team,

    The owners of some listing don’t want to allow comments from the visitor. Is it a way to insert a checkbox in the create listing page (listing_type=gd_place) that will allow/or not the comments ?

    When it is check the visitor will be able to leave comments. When it is uncheck no comments is allowed.

    Hi Andrew,

    There is no way to do this by default but you could easily add a custom field with a checkbox and then run a small snippet one the save/update action to set the comments preferences.

    To insert the checkbox field it not a problem. But I don’t know how to “run a small snippet” can you please help me ?
