    Hi,

    I created an event as an admin, is it possible for a user to claim this listing? I don’t see the option for “Business Owner?”

    Did you enable the Claim Listings addon for that CPT?
    Did you set the listing as unclaimed when you created the listing?

    I’ve since enabled “allow linking by any author” with a test listing “not claimed” > that also is not displaying the option to claim.

    Can you post the URL of that listing and your WP admin details in a private reply? I am not sure I understand correctly.

    Thanks for this reply as it got me to the desired outcome, it appears you actually can claim events.
    Need to specify the post type in claim listing options(in this case”trips and events”)

    Yes, you can claim any CPT you add at Geodirectory – Listing Claims – Choose post types for show claim listing link
