    Hi guys,

I’m really impressed with GD, I’ve been able to move with my site much faster than I could with geotheme.

I’m just clarifying to see if I understand correctly.

If I’m a user in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia and I allow the website access to my current location through my browser, then it will show listings only around that region?

If I am still in Port Macquarie, and I want to go on a holiday in Sydney, I therefore can’t search for activities in Sydney because I’m restricted to the original location the browser detected me being?

This seems to be what’s happening on my site, and I am thinking it might be what others are referring to?

Or, are there settings I can change so that people can just put their keyword into “search for” and then the town/region they are searching about into the “Near” and it will give them results for the destination they are enquiring about regardless of where the website geolocates them?

    I hope that makes sense.

I have one browser open where I have allowed location to be recorded, and it won’t let me search outside the region it picked, and the other browser I didn’t allow location and I can search anywhere.
