How is best to deal with closed businesses with geo directory?

On my current directory they bring a lot of search traffic to my site and the users tend to click on my ads and other pages so I don’t want to delete the listings but then I also don’t want them showing up when people search or browse my site.

My currently software I use let’s me move them to a custome price level which hides them showing up and applys formatting to the listing showing it as closed. Is there something the simlaire I can do with geo directory.

You can create a price package that removes some of the contact details and has some extra info to show they are closed.
You can style the detail page specific to the new package too: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-code-snippets/#package
And use a custom field that explains they are no longer open, which you can show on the Listings pages too and in Popular Post widgets.
