Closed down listings to show in search

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    I would like to allow Place listings with a status of ‘Closed down’ to appear in searches. My reasoning for this is that when a listing is removed from the categories, a visitor will often then search to find that listing… so if it features in search results, and bearing the notices (as it does) that the business is believed to have closed, then that visitor will have found the info they need.

    In addition, I can make some pennies from visitors who spend time on the page that shows that the ‘place’ is closed as its another page to display adsense on.

    We have discussed this feature in the past, I will flag your topic for the developers to post an update when they have made a decision about it.

    For now closed businesses are excluded and to enable them in search would be a customization.

    Just to expand on this, I would like to enable closed listings to appear in searches, but only when their title is searched for.
