    Hi!

    1. Can the comments section in listings be set to the user only sees these, vs everyone? So whoever put a comment is the only one that can see it. Almost like a “Notes” section?

    2. If not, Can this comments section be taken out? I’ve done all of the ‘no comments’ checkboxes but the Comments section still shows on the actual listing (screenshot)

    3. Can the “More info” section tab name be changed to something else?

    Thank you!

    Hi Kelly,

I’ll try and answer your questions in-turn.

#1. Not by default, but i do think it would be a small bit of code for a developer.

#2. That should work for all new listings but you would likely have to change that setting for all current listings too, you can probably find a plugin to disable comments.

    #3. See code snippet below:

    Thanks,

Thanks! I’m assuming the code goes into child functions?

    Hi kelly,

Insert this code into the “Code Snippet” plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/ .

    Thanks!

Random q that might help me solve comment issue: is the comment section pulling from WP or GD?

It is the standard WP comments system and then we add to it, it should be disabled in the normal WP way.

That’s what I thought – thinking I can look for a “private comments” plugin for WP. Hopefully.

If you can’t find a plugin solution, it is possible to run a SQL query on the DB to change all the post sot closed comments.
