    Dear Team,

Is Geodirectory compatible with WPML’s new feature (no more duplicates and fallback to original language for untranslated content) ?

    Many thanks.

    Hello!

That is an unknown right now, but if it causes you any issues with your directory please let us know right away.

Unless they have changed some fundamental aspect of the plugin, there is a good chance it won’t impact the way it works with GD.

Let us know what you find out!

    Dear Alex,

    Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately this feature does not seem to be supported so far, we tried to follow the steps described in WPML’s guidelines ( https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/ ), but obtained 404 errors for GD listings in non-default languages.

It would be great if you would let us know when a solution is available, as that would be a great improvement in our opinion,

    Thanks!

    Hello,

If I understand it correctly, then, you should have a working page in the default language but this new feature will show that same default language content on the URL for any other language for the same post?

And did you already take the step to remove the duplicates?

If it is not working for posts have you tried it with taxonomy for GD yet?

Please let us know about the above and provide us with a link to a page that has been setup.

Also provide FTP and WP Admin so we can take a look at the settings.

Do you have this setup and working for your normal WP posts and pages?

Looking forward to taking a look.
