The compatibility packs look like examples of using functions to customise the layout of the GD elements. My guess is that these examples will guide us to add similar code to our functions.php file for any template that we use?
** Indeed, there is big need of a good manual (more than the brief installation guide now). I hope they start with it as soon as the new core is ready, since many people (including me) need it as i am new to “directory” things. Making a good plugin is one thin, making your customers can use it in a good manner is another.
I’m very shure the whole team is working very hard and thanks them. (while i’m sitting in the sun here :-))
it can be made compatible with X, many here are already using it together. What’s happening is that we are developing a new version that will make it much easier to integrate in any theme html structure. without moving files around.
The version is ready, we just have to test it with all addons, especially the new multilocation and we will release it monday or tuesday.
Right after releasing the new version, we will start releasing addons with the code needed to make it work with a specific theme. 1st will be avada, enfold and X
