I believe the theme Jarida was also mentioned earlier, could this one be also part of your test plan.
June 3, 2014 at 1:56 am #3474Thank you, Paolo for the update.
What new core features will be included in the upcoming version? Will geolocation be one of them?
June 3, 2014 at 7:43 am #3481So without a compatibility pack for Genesis will it be worse than it is at present or better?
Is there a framework/template that the compatibility pack will follow
June 3, 2014 at 7:55 am #3482The compatibility packs look like examples of using functions to customise the layout of the GD elements. My guess is that these examples will guide us to add similar code to our functions.php file for any template that we use?
Someone said there would be a tutorial.
June 3, 2014 at 5:00 pm #3507We haven’t tested the new version with Genesis yet, but out of the box nothing should change compared to the old version.
The idea is that we will provide a plugin with all functions needed for each of the 5 themes mentioned and all examples needed to do the same for other themes.
With these examples, not only you can add a specific theme template wrappers to GD templates, but you can also learn how to move things around for each page.
Example: Hide the address on the sidebar of the listing detail page and show it below the title…
June 3, 2014 at 5:01 pm #3508GeoLocation can’t be added to core plugin because core plugin works with a single location only. It will be released as an addon.
ThxJune 4, 2014 at 1:36 am #3550Thank you, Paolo. I hope the geolocation addon will be released on Thursday as well since you named the software is GeoDirectory. 🙂
June 6, 2014 at 6:26 am #3688Is there a consolidated list of current compatible themes? this thread is now 9 pages long and contains a lot of posts, which are not strictly related what themes are supported.
Thanks

Is your GeoDirectory theme is ready? Will you have a installation video Tutorials guide?
ThanksJune 6, 2014 at 11:32 am #3698Hi Usermay,
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/update-5th-june/
Think a little bit patience is needed 🙂 I’m sure they work very hard.** Indeed, there is big need of a good manual (more than the brief installation guide now). I hope they start with it as soon as the new core is ready, since many people (including me) need it as i am new to “directory” things. Making a good plugin is one thin, making your customers can use it in a good manner is another.
I’m very shure the whole team is working very hard and thanks them. (while i’m sitting in the sun here :-))
June 6, 2014 at 1:44 pm #3713Hi Johan,
Thanks for your reply.
Ok, i’ll do my best to be patient 🙂Good sun time there :-))
June 6, 2014 at 7:14 pm #3742I am trying to follow this. I am new here – just signed up today. Does this mean that the plugin is not compatible with X Theme?? That would be disappointing.
June 6, 2014 at 7:28 pm #3743Hi,
it can be made compatible with X, many here are already using it together. What’s happening is that we are developing a new version that will make it much easier to integrate in any theme html structure. without moving files around.
The version is ready, we just have to test it with all addons, especially the new multilocation and we will release it monday or tuesday.
Right after releasing the new version, we will start releasing addons with the code needed to make it work with a specific theme. 1st will be avada, enfold and X
Thanks,
June 11, 2014 at 4:15 pm #3997Any update to this?
We’re trying to get the plugin to work with Enfold and it’s breaking no matter what we try.
Any code/CSS you can recommend?
Thanks!
