    Hello,

Just installed the buddy press plugin since I use buddypress.

While logged in into my account, now, it is not recognizing me being logged into buddypress. Seems to have taken me a step backwards after turning the compatibility plugin on.
Sould be noted, that I before you had the compatibility plugin, i implemented the redirect fix you guys had for the login pages, not sure if that is playing a role in this.
    Any ideas?
    thanks

If you ticked “Use BuddyPress registration form” you can delete that redirect in your functions.php.
What do you mean with “logged into buddypress”?
You can only login to WP, and you do that by way of using a GD form or Buddypress form etc. Buddypress extends the WP login.

I will try to explain better. While logged into wordpress with my director account.

I can click on the menu tab called community which is a buddypress tabs.

It will open the tab asking me to log in or register, which is what the tab shows to people who are not logged in. It is showing me this while logged in.

It is acting strangely, yesterday when I opened this ticket it was doing that from the homepage.
Now on the homepage, while logged in the community tab expands showing options it should if I logged in. But, for example, if I go from homepage to profile page, using tab “profile” on the community menu tab, and look at community tab in menu again after just going to profile page, the community tab from the menu button shows me options to register or log in.

    Hi,

deactivating the GeoDirectory Buddypres integration addon, doesn’t seem to be solving the issue though, meaning it’s not causing it.

Did you try deactivating all GeoDirectory plugin to see if the problem persist?

    Let us know,

    Thanks
