    Hello,

There is what appears to be a conflict between 15Zine Functionality plugin (bundled with 15Zine theme) and WP GeoDirectory.

When the 15Zine Functionality plugin is activated it interferes with the following functionality of WP GeoDirectory:

    1. Uploading default listing images (Directory/Place Categoires)

    2. Uploading a custom category pin (same section)

Upload buttons in both cases are not functional and all previously loaded images are not showing.

I have temporarily removed the 15Zine Functionality plug-in, but can you please have a look at it and suggest a fix?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

can I disable and delete w3 total cache? It is not compatible with GeoDirectory.

I also need to activate/deactivate other plugins to see what’s going on. Something is preventing the map from working.

I haven’t even tried activating the 15Zine Functionality plugin yet. Removing all other errors could solve that too.

    Let us know,

I’m not sure deleting w3tc was enough. I think it leaves few folders/files in wp-content. Could you please provide ftp credentials or delete anything w3tc related and let me know?

    Thanks

There is definitely something wrong in 1 or more listings of the reflexology category. If uncheck that category the map works fine.

I’ve tried to validate it’s json and there are no errors, but i believe there are 1 or more wrong lat and long coordinates. Do you have the same problem in the live website?

Once I enalbe the functionality plugin I get all sort of errors in the back end. Example:

TypeError: maincat_obj.find(…).chosen is not a function
    http://dev.corespirit.co.uk/wp-admin/post.php?post=492828&action=edit
    Line 1152

I’ll ask to the developers to see what we can do. We may need some help from the theme author’s too.

    We’ll keep you posted.

    Thanks for your patience

Actually, most of the GD dashboard pages don’t work regardless if the functionality plugin is active or not.

I went all the way to disable all plugins and the dashboard still didn’t work.

The only thing that fixed it was switching to a different theme.

Stiofan will let us know if it is something fixable or not.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Yes there is a conflict with GD and that plugin and there is no easy way to get them to play nice together, for now i have edited the plugin to comment out a file that is causing the problems but it’s purpose is to add custom fields to the category pages, i am not sure how vital this is to you? If you wish to reverse my changes just ask of you can delete the file “Tax-meta-class.php” and rename the file “Tax-meta-class.php.bak” to “Tax-meta-class.php”

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

Thank you very much for looking into this and a temporary fix.

Currently, we are not going to need to fill in the custom fields on category pages, but this functionality might be useful in future.

What is a bit confusing in this situation, is that the theme is made by the same developer — Cubell — as Valenti Theme, which many users on GD forums have recommended. I have contacted Cubell and waiting for reply. Let’s hope there is a fix for this situation in the nearest future.

    Thanks again for excellent support!

    Hi,

it was not possible to fix and made that plugin compatible with GD. You will need to look into alternative themes not using that plugin.

    Thanks
