    Hi,

a theme (PenNews) has a conflict with GD. The Penci Framework Version 6.2 (by the theme) and the Plugin GeoDirectory Version 1.6.30 have a conflict. The changes in the entries of GeoDirectory are not saved at publishing or update. Only publishing functions.

With other templates or without the Penci Framework is no problem.

    Thanks for help

    Johannes

    Please update GD first.
If that doesn’t fix it, and you are not using any other GD addon plugins, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.

    Thanks

    Hi,

The standard location has no effect. The problem is still there.

It appears that the conflict comes from the theme. Did you ask for support to the theme author?

Because it appears to be a PHP error, do you see anything in the debug log?

    Let us know.

    Thanks

The Problem is the plugin “The Penci Framework” by the theme. Its important to use the shortcodes of the theme.

If they won’t provide support for their plugins, the only solution you have is to change theme.

Our plugin works fine, it is their plugin that is breaking our functionalities, not the other way around.

We would have to debug their code, not ours and that goes beyond support.

    Thanks
