Conflicting Search issue with Sahifa theme?

    Hi,

    I am using the core plugin with the Sahifa theme.

    When I try to integrate and use the search, it pulls back the /search/ path, but in the results, shows pages, posts from the Sahifa theme as well as places from the directory?

    Can you please advise how the search ONLY returns the directory results, and in the correct format?

    I want to just remove the sahifa search or stop it from overriding the GD search…

    If you just run a search (next to the slider) without any data, it runs the Sahifa search and not the GD?

    Hi,

    we would need wp admin credentials and FTP in order to solve this.

    The theme appears to be hijacking GD search.

    example : the URL for the search “solicitor” should be :

    http://www.legaladvicegroup.co.uk?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=solicitor&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=

    But if you click on that link, the theme automatically redirects it to

    http://www.legaladvicegroup.co.uk/search/solicitor

    I would also ask to the theme author which function coiuld be the culprit, so that we could find a solution faster.

    Thanks Paolo, I will speak to the theme owners first to see how to disable their search, failing that I’ll send you the credentials 🙂
