Conical link

I am using the premium version of yoast. I noticed that my site is not showing up in the ranking until very late in the pages.

I reached out to Yoast team to ask why. Here is there quote:

I checked your WordPress setup and didn’t find anything wrong with your configuration. I also searched for your website on Google and it does seem to be indexed (see attached screenshot). I also reviewed your sitemaps and I confirm they are technically correct.

One thing I did noticed is that the canonical link of your home page is set to http://whatshappeningtoday.com/location/united-states/california/jackson/ This isn’t good for your SEO since search engines may remove your home page from the search results. So here is the question, where do I go to change the “Conical link” so that I can improve the rankings?
