connected place in database

    Hi,

    I have created a post for a client and than changed the author. So that he can go on with it. Now his post is still connected to my test-post.

    Where could I change connected places in the database? Had a look, but did’nt find it.
    Help appreciated. Thanks!

    How did you change the author? By editing the post in the backend?

    Yes, I did change the author in wp_posts.

    You have to change it in the admin area, only changing in the database does not change all the connections.

    To do it in the backend an user must be an author. Otherwise he is not in the dropdown.
    Should that be the usual wp user-role for a user?

    made user an author.
    Went to post. changed. author to ‘me’ and published. Than changed author to user and published again.
    Still the test-place conected to this place on the place-profile. That need to be somewhere in DB…

    And a link and explanation of what you mean with “conected to this place on the place-profile”.

    I guess you mean that the other listing shows in the “verknüpfte Einträge” (related listing) tab.
    That is a setting at GD > design > detail tab > Zeige ähnliche Beiträge auf (Show similar posts on).
    I turned that off for you. Is that what you meant?

    So it’s a bit of a missunderstanding on my side, that the ‘related listing’ is not related to the author but a similar post.
