Counter of all Event Entries, and GD Entries

    Hello Team,

    is it possible to create a counter with all entries displays on a page?

    An exmaple, on the top section, right header, of frontpage like this:

    Actually:
    XXX Locations
    XXX Events

    Should give out the summary off all entries from geodirectory.
    Exitsts herefor a widget or plugin or what i have to do to create this?

    Hope this is the right place in the forum to ask this … 🙂

    HI,

    the place is correct, however I’m not sure I understand the question, where would you like to put that counter?

    now …
    i like to put the counter at the top of the page – at the right side of my logo (in the demo of the “modern child theme” there’s a “banner”) – this would be my optimal place – if this is possible?

    and there should be a generated text of the summary of all entries
    eg:

    Actually
    1524 Events
    326 Locations

    “Events” should display all of the event entries (all kategories)
    “Locations” should display all “places” entries (all kategories)

    Sorry bout another question to this topic … is it possible (and easier?) to display the summary of the entries (like i wrote) automatically on another place?

    Hi,

    at the moment there is no such counter…

    You’ll have to create a custom widget or shortcode.

    It shouldn’t be that difficult.

    uuuuuh – i come from the designer edge ^^ … some things are easy in coding, but i work now 2 weeks with wp (worked before with joomla) … the code is logical, but how to implement it in a widget or else … ??? this time for me like to read egyptain hieroglyphes 😉

    maybe anyone package this in a widget or else for easy use?
