    Good Afternoon!

    I am currently working with you guys on a few items and decided to take a pause as I am having someone update my site to V2 and you mentioned some of the styling issues and social importer issues I had can be addressed through the update. Here are a few things that I think I can work on in the meantime I was hoping you might be able to guide me or point me to the correct articles on:

    1.) in safari some of my “submit” buttons are appearing bright yellow instead of the orange styling that is correctly displayed on chrome
    2.) How can I sort the business listings on the CPT places business directory page to be randomized rather than showing only the featured listings?
    3.) Where do I find a link for a CPT (charities) so that I can link text on my homepage that will take the reader to all of the charities on my site?

    My developer is working on updating to version 2 this weekend.

    Are you asking for V2? Or v1? Most of these items are different for V2.

    I have someone helping me update to V2, I think I could do by myself with the converter tool but I don’t trust myself enough, haha. I suppose it would make sense to get the directions for V2 hoping that he can complete it soon. Is that a pretty fast process?

    The doc is here, just depends on how fast these things can be done. If you only have a couple listings it can take 30 minutes if everything is in place. If you want templates and layout and a new home page created it can take as long as you like, but that is personalization, not just the upgrade.

    Do you know why my events tab isn’t working anymore? It just stopped? I asked the developer but haven’t heard back yet

    Also, how do I link to a Custom post category? In my case, linking to all listings that are non profits– what is that url? Screen shots attached here.

    Please provide WP Admin login details and we will take a look at the events issue.

    For categories you can find options under “Screen Options” in the WP Menus

    Another plugin seems to be causing a conflict with the slug /events/
    Could be leftovers form the calendar plugin you have installed.
    I changed the events slug to eventsx and it works. You can adjust that in the Custom Post Type settings, to change the slug.
    You might need to uninstall that calendar plugin completely to remove the settings it seems to have stored.

    Hi there! The developer uploaded the plugins, but didn’t activate them so I think I might need to do it on my own. If I follow those articles I hope I don’t mess anything up. In the process of getting a staging site now. I have about 200 business listings, and I am utilizing Traveller theme with some custom CSS (not a geo theme). I don’t want to change the templates or layouts or get a new homepage I simply want the updated version for the new functionalities and ability to style the listings more easily etc. I want it to look like how it looks right now but just change the fonts on the listings and may want to change more styling in the future so you guys recommended just upgrading the plugin now.

    Thank you for the events listings fix! The link worked for the charity section as well so thank you for that too!
