CPT Category problem when creating new one.

Is this a problem or just the way the plugin works….

When I create a new CPT category I have to upload image “Category Icon” otherwise the new category will not save and an error comes up saying upload category icon. I have no issue with this but I have uploaded the map default marker icon in “Design” “Map” section of the plugin and this is what I want each category to default to.

So to get this to work, that is so my default map marker is showing, I have to upload a category icon and then save. I then need to go back into the edit category where the system will now let me delete the category icon and save. (Find this weird that it’s mandatory when you create a new category but not when you edit one). I feel something is wrong here as I believe that if I have a default category icon set up then it should not be making me put a mandatory icon in when creating it. Creating categories at the moment is a drawn out process having to create then edit. Please advise.
