CPT or Franchise Listings?

    Hi,

    We need some advise on the CPT vs Franchise. We’re working on a designer directory as mentioned:

    Home Designer A
    > Project 1
    > Project 2

    Home Designer B
    > Project 1
    > Project 2

    Would it be better if we create Project 1, Project 2 as a new CPT and use related listing to link back to the Designer or Franchise would be a better choice?

    The structure always needs to be CPT (like places or events) > categories > subcategories.
    All listings need to be in one CPT and one or more categories.
    Franchises are used for when you have a listing wand you want the same user to add sub-listings of that listing.

    I understand that “project 1” and “project 2” are listings, so they cannot be CPTs.
    If you have a designer and you want that designer to add their projects, then franchises seems best.
