create packages NOT relating to a custom post type

    Hi, I want to sell 4 package options to clients and I want them to select a listing type themselves as they sign up. The prices and payments section requires a Post type, but I don’t want to tie a post type to a package. I want clients to pick package A, B, C or D and then assign a post type of their choice.

    Is this possible or is there another way of presenting this option to clients?
