    I’ve used theme-my-login before and found it useful, and it seems to work fine with GD.

    The default setting for TML is to NOT login a new registration, it sends the email and the new user has to login with the supplied password. Which is the minimum that I want.

    It also has a setting for User Moderation with various options, including User Activation email with a link.

    Does Theme-My-Login eliminate the author page? The features look very close to the profile features Paolo was describing, which are a must in my opinion.

    I don’t know if it is working the same way for anyone else, but when I go to my Author page it shows one post type (the Places post type which has been changed to a lesser used post type on my site). I thought it was supposed to show all listings I have posted.

    I would LOVE to not have the author page accessible at all. I agree with jltrinka that it is ultimately unnecessary.

    I’m not that sure about the Author page – I haven’t decided if I need/want one. I believe it is accesses from the GD Dashboard widget, which I have removed from my site, so no author page? Not sure how else it can be accessed, but I presume it would be easy to eliminate?

    thanks for the feedback. Just FYI, you should set the map width to 100% in home page. It would look much much better.
