Creating Rolling Featured Business Function

    Hi,

    I delivered http://www.thisisingleton.co.uk to my client a short time ago and they were very happy with the result. I had setup a custom homepage using X Theme (with Cornerstone) and the client can change details for the ‘Featured business of the week’ section manually. The client has asked me if there is a way to make this automated so it will automatically change the Featured business every week on a random basis using only places that have the ‘Featured’ attribute. Can this be done? Is there a GD widget or shortcode I can use?

    Hi,

    you could probably use the popular post view shortcode : https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#poppost

    It should have all paramenters needed.

    In that case it would randomly change after every page load.
