    Hello,

    firstly I have no idea how the Geodirectory Jobs forum works (it could possibly do with a Guidance sticky?) … that said;

    I have just used Beaver Builder to build a (hopefully) prettier/more concise home/landing page, after feedback that my current home page contains an overwhelming amount of information. Unfortunately, the search bar formatting is not right and I want to have it fixed. I am not a CSS expert by any stretch (and have 3 days experience with BB!), but I have managed to remove the sidebar and header from the GD page template (to give a cleaner BB blank canvas) with some custom CSS targeted to this page only, and was hoping I could do the same with this issue.

    Existing home page with correct search-bar: https://loopyfood.net/
    In-development home page with squished search-bar: https://loopyfood.net/lfhome/

    So – how does this Jobs forum work? Do developers pitch for the work – with a quote? Or is this a forum for free support amongst GD members? Maybe it’s both?!

    Thanks,

    Adrian

    p.s. I was working on the new home page while it was password-protected – it’s public now, but if it disappears again you know it is back in development behind closed doors!
