CSV import special character not showing properlly

    I’m fighting against the export/import/update process in GD
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/unable-to-import-after-creating-entries-with-fb-import/
    I managed to fix my file format and to “successfully” upload and import all my listing

    The problem is that it seams that the import process do not support special character.
    In my case
    Ñ become Ã
    ó become ó
    é become é

    and so on

    I think this may be a bug
    Could you please give me a hint to solve it?

    Hi Bkbai,

    I’ve tried accessing your website with the credentials provided in your other topic about this and no longer could.

    Please provide credentials again and possibly also phpmyadmin access and the latest CSV you are trying to import and we will debug it for you.

    Special Charcters can normally be imported. This has been tested and I just double checked in our demo.

    Hi, knowing that is clearly supported just give me an idea
    I checked my version of WP and GD and updated everything

    I have many different problems now but at least text seams to be imported nicely with special character

    Thanks for the support and your quick answer and sorry for the logging error I’m currently working on too many dev server for testing and debugging stuff and constantly changing credentials
