Hi, as with those with a problem uploading CSV files, same here, I have no idea how the lang and long can be auto generated, it doesn’t make sense for us to search one by one through the thousands of listings to import in. This defeats the purpose of a CSV import function.

Hence, I am trying out WP All Import to achieve this objective. But I would like to find out how to match the address of listings to the “address” field in the custom post. Within WP All Import, I’ve tried to add all fields to custom fields with GeoDirectory’s custom post types, but that didn’t work.

    Hope you can help, thanks!

hello, if your “issue” is the lat and lon, you can use this website to convert addresses in batch

Cool! Thanks Simone, shall try this out first.
Just to do a quick check, if I can’t complete all the fields does it still matter? Do I have to include all the columns? Thks!

Just FYI WP all import is not compatible with GeoDirectory.
We use some custo DB tables and provide our own CSV import tool for this reason.
    Thanks

Ok, thanks Paolo, with try the inbuilt csv again, but somehow this link doesn’t work http://stevemorse.org/jcal/latlonbatch.html

Will probably have to find another site for lat and long.
