Custom Add Listing Form for Custom Post Type – possible ?

if i’m understanding things, the custom post type allows me to basically have totally different sets of main groupings of categorized data (if yes, then wow)

i want to have the following main groupings of data on my site, but the catch is that each one would require (for best results) a different Add Listing and Edit Listing form:

Businesses (default Places and default Add/Edit forms)
Products (custom post type and custom add/edit forms)

the scenario would be that businesses that list on my site would also be able to list a bunch of their products in the product categories (that i create)

is this possible?

i’d also like to display Company ABC’s products on Company ABC’s business listing detail page

i know that a Places listing by default can add images and have them display in the GD Modal popup slider thing (on the listing detail page), but my enhanced idea is to have a whole separate set of product categories on the homepage that visitors can search, etc, would be most cool

what do you think?
