Custom field with shortcode

    Hi,
    I would like to add a custom field that its content will be a shortcode.
    But when using the HTML field option and then inseting a shortcode in the “text” content,
    it doesn’t show the shortcode “action” on the page, rather it is being displayed as text, for example “[short_code]”.
    How can I set up a field that will get the shortcode to work properly?
