    Hi,

    1. I previously set up custom fields. I checked ‘Site admin only’ and yet this doesn’t prevent the fields displaying at the front end for subscribers? What does this function do?

    2. Having set the custom fields up I have now added additional price packages. Do I hvae to go back to custom fields and edit them to include or exclude price packages?

    3. How can I display custom fields in the front end to administrators only?

    4. Do I need S2 Member to control who can see what?

    Thx

    Al

How come custom fields that have been restricted by price package type still appear in ‘post fields?.

    Thx

    1. I guess you are logged in as admin, they will only be hidden for non-admins.

    2. Yes, you need to select and/or de-select in the packages, at “post fields”.
Select by clicking while holding CTRL.

    3. See #1

    4. No

    5. See #2. They all show there, ready for you to select.

Ii assumed you were talking about users seeing the field during submission.
I now guess you mean that they can see the data you entered in the backend.
If you do not want visitors to see the data added by admins, make sure that you do not select anything at “Show in what locations”: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#show

    Thanks

    2. Not sure I understand the logic behind a custom field being set with specific price packages only and then that custom field appearing in the price package under ‘post fields?’

You have the fields set to show on the detail page for the moment, see image.

    2. That is because you can choose where to select available fields for a package: either at custom field settings, or in the price package. Both settings are connected, so if you change it at the custom field setting, the package will automatically change and vice versa.

    Thanks
