    Hi All,

I have created a few custom fields under Places, i.e. within an existing Place profile.

However, for some reason they don’t show up for that respective profile. I would like to have them show up
    (1) next to the thumbnail picture in the search results for the respective place (see screenshot)
    (2) on the details page

I have read through > 15 pages of topics for the forum search “custom fields” but couldnt find anything that clarified the above. I’m sure I’m just missing / overlooking something.

Would be great if someone could help me out!

Also I’m planning to buy the multi ratings add-on. Would it be possible to show these with each listing (see screenshot)?

    Many thanks,
    David

    Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#show
Let us know if that fixed your issue.

There is no setting to add additional rating types to the listing view, but I’ll get a developer to have a look at your question too. There may be a simple solution for that.

I had read the link but was confused because I didnt see the options but finally realised that they (logically) only show up when you click on one of the custom fields (perhaps worth pointing to in the documentary).

Further confusion came from the fact that “custom fields” can also be added on the Place page (Places-> Place 1) which are not linked to the custom fields in Place Settings. I understand now that these custom fields relate only to meta data. Perhaps relabelling them to something more clearer (meta custom fields) would be more user friendly.

    One step closer to.

    Thanks Guust!

GD > Place Settings > Custom fields are special GD custom fields, and they are part of the listing submission by your users.
The other ones are WP custom fields, and your users have no access to them.
