Custom fields problem (checkbox, radio and select)

Hi !

I have a problem with place custom fields :

I would like to add a new requiered custom field “Author statut”, Select, Radio or checkbox could work but I have different problem with each. (Photo 2)

* Select :
Because this field is requiered, I want to force my users to fill it, but the field is already fill with the first option ( and I didn’t find how to change it)

* Radio :
I haven’t the same problem than Select, but my options are quite long so it would be better for the presentation to have each option in a different ligne but I don’t think it’s possible

* Checkbox :
As you can see in the Photo 1 : in the setting, there is no space for adding the options

Could you please find a solution for at least 1 of the 3 custom field type ?

I also have another little problem :

When a user add a new place with photos : in the preview page, there are 3 warning messages (these messages are impossible to understand for the user …)
When we valid, everything works correctly !

So can you give me a solution to hide these messages ?
