Custom Fields, Stopped working after last update.

    Hi all,

    Quick one really I created 2 new custom fields for the core plugin, I backed up my alterations before the update and put the custom code edits back in afterwards.

    The custom fields appear to be functioning correctly as intended but no data is being saved as it was before.

    The 2 fields are for 4 extra images per listing (using the media library) and a Monday – Friday custom opening hours field. The images are stored in the text field as a comma separated list and the opening hours are a serialized string of 2 times per day.

    Anyway have I missed something or are these being saved differently since the update?

    I think the recent updates have fixed this because I updated the core + custom posts + events plugins (all I own basically) put my code back in and its all working and saving now, so this can be marked as resolved.

    I am having issues adding a text custom field. I can add any other type of custom field except a text (actually if I choose a text field and use either Number or Decimal it works – just not Character)
