    Hi,

I’ve just tested and 100% of time it redirected me correctly?

I’ve added a wee function to hide php warnings so the Notice: undefined bla bla message should be gone.

I’ve also noticed that you have GD files in your child theme like geodirectory_template_actions.php and listing-listview.php. Both files in there will never allow you to accomplish anything.

The 1st one should be modified via functions.php, the second is used by another template, so only moving the other template 1st would help you modify that one.

In any case, GD templates will only work if moved inside a folder named geodirectory inside your child theme.

    Thx

    Hi Paolo,

    Good afternoon.

Thanks for taking a look for me. This happens to me too–works sometimes–which is why it’s so frustrating.

I took a screenshot video in which I refresh the page then click the Add Listing which gave me a 404. I then refresh the page, selected a custom post type and it also gave me a 404.

Could you take a look and tell me what you think? Perhaps it’ll show you something I’m doing? I’m going to post a link to my Dropbox in the next post.

    Thanks!

    Hi Paolo,

    Just thought of something….

When you tested and it worked for you, was the URL showing “mysite.com/posttype/”?

For some reason, this is the only way it’ll work. However, I noticed in the official demo that it should work like this: “mysite.com/posttype/united-states/IL/Chicago”.

    Thanks!!!

    Ok, I see the problem.

Wasn’t seeing it, because I was checking on Everywhere and the problem wasn’t happening. A city must be selected for this to happen.

I’ve looked around and can’t find anything logic for this to happen so I’d need to disable every non GD plugin to see if one of them is the culprit.

    Can I?

Ok I’ve found it… in permalinks settings, you had ” Add city slug in listing urls” enabled, but it was still using the full URL with country and region too.

It is actually a bug someone else already reported and Vikas fixed. A partial fix can be found here and obviously will be included in next release (hopefully tomorrow)

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/view-all-link-goes-to-404-when-add-city-slug-option-is-selected/

At the moment I’ve enabled “Add full location info with country, region and city slug in listing urls” and it is working now.

Thanks and sorry for the confusion!
