Custom Post Type Listing not displaying on main map.

I have four custom post types that I created. The most recent custom post type I created gd_event will not display on the main map. I created a new listing adding it to the sub-category Events->local. The new listing is visible in the directory and on the detail page. On the detail page the map location is showing correctly with the icon marker. On the main map the new listing is not showing.
I checked GD->Design->Map, and the custom post type is not checked off. I checked the Event settings and cannot find any reason for it not showing.
