Custom Post Types Listings being posted to Posts

    hi,

    I have found that the when listings are added, they not only appear in the relevant custom post types, but also on “POSTS”.

    Later I have found that only a few are appearing in the “POSTS”, but all appearing in the custom post types.

    Please clarify the following:
    1)Can I create Categories in “POSTS” that match the Custom Post Types? Or is it not required.
    2)Why are all the listings not appearing in “POSTS”

    Without having a look at your setup, I am guessing that you have duplicate slugs for categories or custom post types, and your wordpress database is confused by your setup.
    Just making sure that the slug is different should solve it; the name can stay the same but the slug cannot.

    I might be wrong, so in that case, post your URL and WP admin (in a private reply) and some of the URLs where we can see this in action.

    GD plugins should not be network activated but on a sub-site basis only.
    Can you fix that first, and then do a new test.
    Please let us know.

    hi,

    I Deactivated Network Active and went to site plugins and activated the same.

    The same appears in POSTS as before.

    Please delete the posts and try adding a new listing to see if it still appear in posts.
