Customer Difficulty Editing a Listing

    When I edit a listing, I can just visit the listing in the browser and select Edit Place from the admin bar.

    When a customer creates a free or paid listing, the system adds them as a subscriber and they don’t see the admin bar, so could only edit the place from their listings page in their profile (as shown).

    When we try to click on Edit Place, instead of opening up the current place, it opens an empty listing.

    Is the user supposed to fill in everything again? Would it create a duplicate listing?

    If I upgrade the customer to contributor, then they can see the black admin bar and edit their listing, but they can also change their plan without paying.

    Has anyone run into something similar and what did you do to correct the behavior?

    The user is not meant to fill everything up again, something is wrong, they should see the form with the data they already entered, ready to be edited.
