Customize My Search Widget

    Hi,

    We’re experiencing a problem for ‘Customize My Search’ widget on mobile phone. When we view our website on mobile phones, the “geodir-filter-container” opens up instead of displaying the ‘Search’ & ‘Customize My Search buttons’ first.

    Please advise.

    Hi,

    I see it open on desktop to, please edit the widget option “Open customize my search from: ” to default.

    Hi,

    in the advance search option, you should select OR instead of AND as Search Operator.

    Now you are using AND and it with that search it would only return listing that have both features.

    We went to GD > Advanced Search but did not see any Search Operator option.

    Hi,

    that will be in GD >> Place Settings (or any other CPT) >> Advance Search, inside the search filter.

    Let su know if you can find it now.

    Hi,

    you need to use a multiselect field for something like that. For individual checkboxes the operator will be always AND.

    Hi Paolo,

    We only see SELECT | CHECK | RADIO | LINK. There’s no multiselect field in GD > Proj Settings > Advanced Search.

    Or is there a way we can code in theme functions?

    Hi,

    that’s because you created the custom fields as individual checkboxes.

    If you want to use the OR operator, you’ll need delete them all and create one custom field as MultiSelect and use that as filter for the advance search..
