    Hi guys,

    I’m starting to look at customizing the CSS. I’m following the instructions on this article and have worked my way to #11 but I’m failing somewhere.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

    I’m able to find the segment, I’m able to modify and see the change on the website in action but uploading the code to the style page didn’t seem to make any actual change to the site.

    Here’s the code I’ve added to the style.css. Can you tell me what I’ve gotten wrong? Thanks.
    .geodir_list_heading {background-color:#821717;}

    yeah, so, uh. Nevermind. Apparently it was successful. Just took some time to show up.

    A separate question, since I’m learning this. What is the appropriate use of the Edit CSS function in settings? I see that the same code I can run in the Style.css for my theme didn’t work in Edit Css directly. What’s the difference?

    Thanks!

    “Edit CSS” is most likely a theme specific option or an extra plugin, that is not part of GD or WP normally. Maybe a part of another plugin …
    So a bit hard to comment, but your child theme’s style.css file is always a good place, but make sure to re-load pages to see the difference.

    Thanks
