Customizing text widget for advertising

In my project I need to place some avertising in my various sidebars. I would like to differentiate it based on the CPT’s category so that the ads could be coherent with the post content. Now, the ways I have figured out how to do it are:
1) Assigning the category as a body class (which I don’t know how) and then filter everything via CSS.
OR
2) Using Widget Logic plugin once I find out which filter to use to point to a given CPT’s category.

Any help or alternative solution will be highly appreciated. Thank you
